About the Brand

A L G E N I S T – This luxury skincare brand focuses on biotechnology-powered products that deliver visible results. Known for its breakthrough ingredient, Alguronic Acid, Algenist stands out in the skincare industry as a science-based innovator, offering high-performance, anti-aging solutions. 

Challenge

The brand was starting to feel overly promotional, weakening the perception of luxury and full-price value. At the same time, the team needed hands-on creative reinforcement while modernizing a struggling design/marketing infrastructure. Templates were aging, launches were harder to scale, and production leaned too heavily on outside vendors under a tight budget.

Solution

I embedded as practical creative support alongside the marketing team to elevate the brand’s look while simplifying production and improving cross-channel consistency.

  • Support photoshoot selects and direction, then handled retouching internally to reduce third-party costs and keep turnaround tight.

  • Reduce the reliance on heavy promotions by driving repeat purchases and highlighting subscription services, which were previously underutilized.

  • Aligned campaign graphics so they translated cleanly across channels, making social cutdowns and adaptations faster and more consistent.

  • Build impactful campaigns that were modular and shareable across all channels (site, email, omni-channel, social, and advertising)

Result

Sales growth improved during the period, driven by a combination of broader restructuring and the added creative capacity and consistency my involvement brought to the team. The updated templates increased speed and repeatability, campaign assets stayed more cohesive from web to email to social, and more of the production workload could be handled in-house without sacrificing quality. These changes elevated the brand’s visual identity and elevated customer engagement.
